Rules for NJ divers and boaters

According to research done by Tom Holtey of Top Kayaker:

For Divers in New Jersey

14" x 16" Diver Down Flag. Divers must surface within 25' of flag. Flag must be seen from 360 degrees.

For Boaters in New Jersey

Boaters must keep 50' from flag.
